What happens to my data if I stop paying?

Not much! If you cancel HomeRoom Pro, your data stays on your account and we hold your cloud backup for 1 year so you can export it, or come back when you're ready.

Does my school IT need to approve this?

HomeRoom runs entirely in your browser with no student accounts and no district data flowing through it. Most teachers use it independently without any IT setup.

What if my browser data gets cleared?

Free accounts save data locally in your browser, encrypted, plus an automatic cloud backup — a single restorable snapshot, so you can recover it on a new device or after clearing your browser. It's a backup, not live sync, so it won't keep multiple devices continuously up to date with each other. Pro adds live sync — every device stays current automatically, no manual restore.
